Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. ***** RAIN AND WET ROCK ***** The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Red Rock: a few thousand routes, generally warm weather, every kind climbing from short sport routes to big 20-pitch outings, nearby Las Vegas for off-rock activities.
